ABOUT US
Located in the small community of Nancy,
Haney's Appledale Farm has a rich tradition
for people all over South-Central Kentucky.
Whether it be the annual trips into the
orchards to pick their favorite apples or
the wholesome goodness of a warm apple pie,
our farm is more than a business...it's a
family.
The actual establishment of Haney's dates
back to the late 1800s. Since then, this
once small road-side fruit stand has evolved
into a staple of fresh fruit for the people
of Lake Cumberland Region.
The farm has been passed down through five
generations, the latest owners being Don and
Mark Haney. The two brothers were raised on
the farm and learned first hand experience
from their late father, previous owner
Lawrence Haney. With the help of their
family and friends, the two have transformed
their market into a successful tradition for
everyone.
